Ok so I don't listen to Eminem any more but the picture is kinda fitting. Last night I felt compelled to get rid of all the stuff I was not wearing and donate it to goodwill. It left my closet bare but it needed to be done. Now that everything is out I can focus on creating the wardrobe that is timeless. Over the next couple weeks I am going to research where I can get the best deals, and best quality. Hopefully by the time the month ends I will have prepared myself for a new wardrobe by planning first and I won't go shopping until I know all the ends and outs and what I need to get. Im excited about the research because I really want to get this right. So if anyone knows any good shopping tips or stores feel free to let me know!!
Wow, good luck to you with that. I clean my closet twice a year and fill up bags and boxes but both of my closest are still full.

I don't have any suggestions for 'mass' clothes buying. I usually buy my items on sale and off season.
ReplyDeleteI know some people have luck at thrift stores. Or, you can just scour the circulars for great sales and combine some coupons. I pick up a lot of everyday items at Kohls with great discount coupons.
Thanks, when I got into the Dave Ramsey program I was also 25 and in "transition" so to speak since I consider myself a late bloomer. Right when I shoulda been turning a leaf I got frugal and got gazelle intense so I just didnt buy clothing. I did some shopping here and there but nothing major and I shopped thrift a lot but again I never brought a lot I just brought what I needed for an occasion.
ReplyDeleteNow I need to get a wardrobe that actually can represent my newself instead of my old self which was jeans and a tshirt. I been researching so far and found good info about what a timeless closet looks like.
and I love KOHLS!!
